THE POSITION
Are you a visionary leader with extensive experience in both IT and business? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive Leader who can drive strategic initiatives and deliver true value to our organization. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive IT Excellence: Ensure the delivery, availability, and continuous improvement of IT services, leveraging escalation processes when necessary.
2. Global IT Representation: Act as the voice of the global IT function within the ROPU UK & Ireland management teams, aligning local business demands with global IT strategies.
3. Business Advocacy: Represent the UK & Ireland business within the global IT function, ensuring our needs are heard and considered in global IT strategies.
4. Project Leadership: Oversee the successful delivery of IT projects through robust governance and management of cross-functional interdependencies.
5. Drive Innovation: Anticipate issues and challenges from the business and provide solutions optimizing AI and the latest technical trends.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT systems comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards.
7. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop our UK-based IT team, taking on legal management responsibilities for all team members.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Extensive Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading and motivating teams.
2. Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement strategies that align with business goals.
3. Customer Focus: Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
4. Influencing and Negotiation Skills: Expertise in influencing stakeholders and negotiating successful outcomes.
5. Dual Expertise: In-depth understanding of both business and IT, with experience in both fields.
6. Creative and Curious: Highly innovative, curious, and a strong networker.
7. Legal Acumen: Knowledge of local employment and other relevant laws.
8. Change Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and drive change effectively.
9. Team Leadership: Experience in leading, developing, and inspiring diverse teams.
10. Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Holistic understanding of the pharmaceutical business and end-to-end processes (preferred but not essential).
11. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
