What does the day of a Head Housekeeper look like?
• To lead, manage and supervise the domestic and laundry staff team to ensure the home
achieves an industry leading standard in hotel services provision.
• To work individually and as part of a team, assisting the Service Manager / Senior Team
provide a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home by maintaining
an efficient, cost effective, clean hygienic working environment.
• Offer a safe, clean and stable environment for our residents.
• Comply with company processes and guidelines health & safety and infection prevention
and control including equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Undertake tasks as designated in a professional manner, reflecting the values of Holmes
Care Group in a person-centered way
Requirements:
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a care or commercial setting (desirable).
• Knowledge, experience and/or understanding of supervising and supporting staff.
• Good knowledge and understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to
Health) and HACCP (Food Safety Management System).
