The Opportunity
BakerHicks has grown rapidly in the Transmission & Distribution sector over several years and has been successful in winning many major projects within the UK.
As the demand to deliver exceptional engineering design from our clients continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader, responsible for managing the Substations Design team, to join, under the High Voltage discipline.
About You
This is a diverse role where you will apply your technical Substation design expertise as well as team management experience, (within the Distribution & Transmission design industry in the UK), in understanding, directing and encouraging design quality management.
Your experience in tenders, business development and work winning, will support the strategic growth of this teams capability.
Requirements
Substation design experience with National Grid and/or SSE
Proven experience in team management and resourcing
Business development and work-winning experience
Minimum BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering (preferably a Master’s degree)
