POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The IMAP Electrician is responsible for completing preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance in accordance with the scope of work for their assigned team.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
* Attend the In-Brief Meeting on the first day at Post and assist in relaying the Team’s plans to complete their SOW, and to field additional tasks requested by the Facility Manager (FM); as well as attending any Security Briefings.
* Assist teammates in coordinating access to PCC and other secure locations that might have limited access.
* Coordinate any outages required for maintenance or repairs during the visit.
* Inspect and document the integrity of all Lightning Protection systems, inspecting and documenting all Switchgear breakers, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and DoS/OBO Standards.
* Create an inventory of equipment within the Team’s SOW for Preventative Maintenance (PM). Assist teammates in updating the equipment inventory that the Team plans to PM during the visit.
* Document any electrical deficiencies observed during the visit and communicate them to the FM or your POC.
* Complete PM on each piece of equipment within the IMAP Statement of Work (SOW) as dictated by the appropriate checklist.
* Identify corrective maintenance items and relay required parts information to the Team Leader.
* Ensure that all areas visited are properly cleaned and organized and wear proper Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
* Attend an Out-Brief Meeting with all teammates to relay the results of the PM and corrective maintenance completed.
* Complete a weekly Trip Expense Report (TER) to document all M&IE claimed, and any reimbursable expenses.
Deliverables may include:
* Service Reports after every visit
* Fully complete and detailed PM checksheets for all equipment maintained
* Detailed Corrective Maintenance worksheets
* Complete and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Must hold a valid Journeyman electrician license or equivalent at a State or Local Municipality level
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance
* Must have the physical ability to travel overseas
* Must be able to pass a physical examination for duty
* Must be able to work on ladders and lift materials over 25 lbs
* Must be familiar with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safety regulations
* Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite programs
