Reprographics Operator / Print Workflow Automation Manager - Labels Middlesborough / Hybrid (DOE) Salary DOE Hours - Monday - Friday - 40 hour week (flexible work times) - Company - Established in 2010 this is a specialist in the packaging and labels industry. With over 20 years experience in barcode design, printing, verification and tracking, they use industry standard UV flexo techniques and also state of the art digital process using HP Indigo and ABG Digicon 3 print embellishments for the drinks, food and retail sectors. Overview - They have recently invested in pre-press and print work flow automation using "PACKZ/CLOUDFLOW" from Hybrid Software, to automate step and repeats, keyline editing, proofing, variable data processing and pre-press editing to help streamline and speed up the pre-press process and as such looking for someone to manage these workflows. Roles & Responsibilities: Workflow Optimization: Identify and analyze current print workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation. Develop and implement automated workflows using appropriate software and technologies. Design and implement print production processes that are efficient, cost effective, and meet quality standards. Manage and maintain print workflow automation software, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Stay up-to-date with the latest software and technology trends in print workflow automation. Provide training and support to users on the use of print workflow automation tools. Monitor and analyse print production performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Implement and track process improvements, ensuring that they are effective and sustainable. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent print quality. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, design, and production, to ensure seamless print workflows. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on print production status and performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Manage print projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the print production process. Experience Needed: Experience in a related field, such as print technology, graphic design i.e. packaging / labels industry Experience in print production, workflow automation, or a related field i.e. Esko, PACKZ/CLOUDFLOW Proficiency in print production software and technologies. Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and technologies i.e. flexo, litho, gravure Proficiency in print workflow automation software Experience with digital print technologies and workflows. Familiarity with PDF editing software Desirable to have HTML & JavaScript experience Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Process driven mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
