Here at PH Water & Air Technologies, we’re looking for an Air Hygiene Technician to join our team based in Colchester. With our ever-increasing business success, we’re seeking to grow our team of technicians. Your experience and expertise will be valued as you become part of our success. Previous experience of cleaning commercial ventilation systems such as commercial extraction systems is required along with making assessments and reporting on the findings.
What we offer:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a Company Pension and healthcare, accrued hours scheme, financial loyalty bonus, working 40 hours per week along with a company van plus expenses are covered.
Key areas of responsibility:
1. Fire Damper Testing and Inspection
2. Ventilation Hygiene Assessments / Ventilation Cleaning
3. Indoor Air Quality monitoring and sampling
4. Fitting of access panels to ductwork
Experience required for the role:
1. Fitting of access panels to ductwork using relevant power tools, while regularly working in confined spaces and at heights
2. Producing reports and relevant paperwork for works undertaken
3. Ability to communicate at all levels with clients, colleagues, and public
4. Full UK driving licence required
