Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? Our Manufacturing Engineering team is seeking a Manufacturing Paint Engineer to join our Industrial Placement (12-month placement). This is an exciting opportunity to gain total exposure to how our Manufacturing Paint department operates while actively implementing robust processes, quality improvements, and supporting new model introductions. As part of this placement, you’ll work closely with the team to deliver and support processes on the shop floor, focusing on quality control and documentation. You'll also be involved in commissioning facilities for new models, honing your skills in data analysis and suggesting process improvements based on your findings. What You'll Do: Deliver and support robust processes and quality improvements for new model introductions. Gain exposure to Aston Martin Engineering (AME) and Corporate Manufacturing Engineering (CME). Work on the shop floor, focusing on quality control and process standards. Analyse data from painted cars to suggest and implement process improvements. Participate in the commissioning of new models and help create paint processes. Support the development of process documentation and layout planning. What We're Looking For: Mechanical or Chemical Engineering students: Currently pursuing a related degree and graduating in 2027. Problem-solving mindset: Passionate about finding solutions and improving processes. Hands-on experience: Excited about working on the shop floor and gaining practical skills.
