They will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting cash flow management. The tasks involve: Generate and send invoices to customers promptly and accurately, following up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payment. Proactively monitor customer accounts for overdue balances, sending reminders (credit control) & actively manage cash flow to the business. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger & company credit cards to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Business Partnering: Working closely with client facing teams & other finance team members to resolve any discrepancies in payments or customer accounts. Maintain accurate records and update customer account details as required. Circulate weekly reports on accounts receivable status, including aged debt reports (to client facing teams), cash flow forecasts, and collection metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant UK accounting standards. Provide feedback to the Finance Manager on policy enhancements and changes. Continually update and make sure the accounting system is up to date. THE PERSON The ideal candidate will have the following: Experienced in an Accounts Receivable (or similar) role. Highly organised, detail oriented, and methodical mindset.
