Our client is seeking a proactive HR Assistant to join their team at their large manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with the site HR Business Partner to implement initiatives that make the site "a great place to work." The role is Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week and an on site role. Key Responsibilities: Manage onboarding: process new starters, produce contracts, and update the HR system. Handle offboarding: process leavers, conduct exit interviews, and maintain leaver trackers. Produce weekly KPI Dashboard reports. Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Enhance onboarding and exiting processes for employees. Manage absence processes and liaise with managers to address absence issues. Respond to queries in the HR inbox. Communicate effectively with operational staff across the business to ensure smooth HR processes. What You’ll Need: Experience in HR administration within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with HR systems. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels, including operational staff. A team-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a busy team. Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities. CIPD Level 3 (preferred but not essential).
