Receptionist Office Manager

* Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist Office Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing office operations and reception duties, preferably within a legal environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our office.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage the switchboard, handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
* Maintain diary management for senior staff and organise meetings.
* Oversee internal office refurbishments and maintenance of building facilities.
* Supervise and support the development of two office juniors.
* Liaise with external contractors and handle logistics for high-profile client visits.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including updating First Aiders and Fire Marshalls information, and conducting fire drills.
* Assist the Senior Partner with organising meetings, managing correspondence, and handling confidential paperwork.
* Manage office supplies, including stationery, kitchen stock, and equipment.
* Handle postal duties such as franking and organising couriers.
* Set up communication tools for new starters, including desk phones, mobiles, and business cards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Office Manager or Receptionist, preferably in a legal environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in office management software.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
