Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse (RGN) to join our team at Bradwell Hall Nursing Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Care:
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for residents.
* Administer medication and treatments accurately and safely.
* Monitor residents' health conditions and promptly report any changes.
* Perform clinical procedures, such as wound care, catheterisation, and blood pressure monitoring.
* Leadership:
* Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
* Act as a role model and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
* Lead and participate in care planning meetings and clinical audits.
* Communication:
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
* Promote open and honest communication within the team.
* Compliance:
* Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards, including NMC Code of Conduct and Care Quality Commission guidelines.
* Participate in mandatory training and professional development.
* Promote a culture of safety and quality within the home.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
* Excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Passion for providing high-quality care to older adults.
