An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.
Vacancy Brief:
* The vacancy is that of a Complex Needs Support Worker.
* This is a potential temp vacancy until the end of March with the possibility of an extension.
* A full-time role, 35 hours per week.
* Shift pattern – Monday - Friday 9 – 5pm
* The pay rate for this job is £14.55 per hour on PAYE OR £18.01 Umbrella.
* Full UK Driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential.
* Mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile for any work-related travel.
* A current Enhanced DBS will be required for this vacancy.
* The vacancy is based in Wolverhampton.
The Responsibilities:
* As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will need to ensure service users reach their goal in line with service objectives and
* An important aspect of your role will be to maximise contact with other agencies, making the best use of sustainable support across the city, which will involve multi agency working with other statutory and voluntary services.
* In your job role as a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will be required to support the development of family interventions within the wider service through case discussion, group supervision and proactive contributions to the development of the service model.
* Part of your role as a Complex Needs Support Worker will be to represent and promote the work of the service, encouraging the active participation of service users, families and the wider community.
* Furthermore, you will need to provide brief and longer-term structured interventions, developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans.
Skill Outcomes of this role:
This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions including experience of working with a range of criminal justice agencies.
In addition, you will gain experience in liaising with local authority Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial issues.
