About the Role An Independent school in Barnet requires a dedicated History Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary position working 4 days per week. You will deliver engaging history lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a passionate History Teacher seeking a flexible work arrangement. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for assessments and examinations. Develop students' understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of history resources. Potentially lead history-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History. Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
