We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic nurse to complement our current team within outpatients at North Tyneside General Hospital and Fracture Clinic at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.
You will be part of a close-knit collaborative team who pride themselves on providing the highest standard of care to our patients and their families. Our Outpatients team is comprised of experienced nurses and healthcare assistants supported by our welcoming Outpatients Manager. As well as undertaking basic duties, you will function as a clinical practitioner responsible for the delivery of patient care, managing and organizing a workload on a daily basis. All of our work is planned, so you will be able to plan your week with ease knowing your work schedule won't change.
You will be expected to deliver a high standard of care to a range of patients from all specialities including medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics, providing them with all the necessary support and information for a safe hospital transition or discharge home.
Liaison with all members of the MDT is of vital importance to ensure a safe and seamless transition for patients, which is why effective communication skills are of the utmost importance. You would also be expected to coordinate clinics, direct others, and undertake phlebotomy.

Responsibilities include:
1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while working as a member of the ward team under the direction of the Ward Manager.
2. Organizing and coordinating nursing services in the absence of senior staff.

4. Maintaining high clinical standards and being responsible for all nursing care standards.
