This is a permanent, fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
Minimum Requirements:
It is essential that you have a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and that you are currently registered with the HCPC.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full time 1.0 wte Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist position within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC) based within the South of Glasgow City HSCP. This is a driven and dynamic team who are keen to stay up to date with all local and national strategies engaging with stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for all. As an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist you will provide comprehensive specialised assessment, treatment and management to children and young people who have complex clinical conditions including general developmental delay, disorder of movement, disability or illness which may be impaired, controlled or alleviated by physiotherapeutic skills and or the use of specialised equipment. You will have a clinical caseload and will ensure the delivery of safe, effective patient care for children and young people referred to our service.
There will be training and mentoring offered. You are expected to be working towards masters level post graduate qualifications and to be competent in assessing a wide range of paediatric conditions based on sound theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, often in situations where conflicting evidence is present. You will have relevant post registration experience working with children and young people. Some community experience would be beneficial.
