What You’ll Be Doing: As the Registered Care Home Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional, person-centred care. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and ensure that the care home operates smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. You’ll take full responsibility for managing the home’s operations, creating a culture of excellence, and making sure every resident receives the highest quality care. What You’ll Bring: Experience: A proven track record of running a successful care home, ideally with experience of managing services for older people. Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be committed to undertaking this qualification. Passion: A genuine passion for providing top-quality care and a drive to achieve an Outstanding CQC rating. Strong Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire the team to deliver their best, while fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Communication & Compliance: Ensure open, transparent communication with all stakeholders, effectively manage difficult conversations, and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, legal standards, and safeguarding protocols. Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Respond to changes and challenges effectively, support team resilience, seek feedback for service enhancement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through audits and risk assessments.
