We are looking for an experienced senior product manager to lead our sportsbook and gaming product verticals. Over the last 2 years we have made great progress in developing our product range and are now looking for an enthusiastic product manager with previous sportsbook and gaming experience to advance our products to the next level. Product at the Tote is built on a data driven approach where we gain deep customer knowledge, conduct customer research and work strategically alongside our BI team to leverage data to learn, inform and prioritise and drive product retention. We are looking for a candidate who has a keen interest in data and a passion for technology to collaborate with our inhouse engineering and delivery teams to lead the roadmap, run product discovery, manage stakeholders, gather and sett requirements and present product performance. As a Senior Product Manager at the Tote you will work closely with the Product Director and CPTO on the broader product vision and strategy and will be expected to lead by example, so previous experience in effectively coaching and mentoring junior members of a team is essential. The role will be 37.5 hours per week and will be based from our Wigan Office with regular onsite presence a requirement for the role. Further details on key responsibilities: Own the Sportsbook & Gaming product roadmaps which balances both internal demands with external client requirements, updating stakeholders regularly and providing a clear view of where we are against forecast and how plans ladder up to the overall budget Own and drive the betting strategy with commercial leads to continually evaluate opportunities and prioritise the most impactful product items Work with commercial leaders and other senior stakeholders to develop the strategic vision for maximising revenue, working with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure a fit for purpose product is delivered on time Identify and gather feedback from clients to help shape the ongoing innovation of the suite of products, ensuring you stay close to the customer via customer research and feedback Develop, manage and drive strong relationships with our third party platform providers ensuring quality, cost and time to market are well governed Work closely with Customer Operations and Compliance to ensure regulatory commitments are met What you’ll need: We are looking for a senior product leader with proven experience in a senior product role within a gambling organisation primarily responsible for sports and/or gaming. As with most operators our sports and casino products are largely reliant on third party providers so experience of managing third party providers including ensuring quality, cost and time to market is essential. In addition, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate; Extensive stakeholder management experience Ability to track and access product performance and can demonstrate strong analytical and data led decision making Proven experience of working with UI/UX teams to produce high quality artefacts as part of the product delivery process Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts Any previous experience working with racing products is advantageous but not essential What we offer: At the Tote you can expect a friendly working environment with a strong sense of teamwork and pride in what we do.
