Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective art lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and risk-taking. Develop and assess student work effectively, providing constructive feedback to support student progress. Prepare students for [List relevant exams, e.g., GCSE Art and Design, A Level Art and Design]. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities, open evenings, and school events. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues. Promote and support the school's values and ethos. Essential Skills and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience of teaching Art to [Specify Key Stages, e.g., secondary school] students. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for art education. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
