Our Radiology Team is seeking an enthusiastic and driven IEP Support Officer to join our team. This role will be key in ensuring the secure transfer of medical imaging data across NHS networks, while also preparing encrypted disks for legal purposes and prioritising image requests. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised and motivated to help deliver IEP medical imaging services. You will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the secure transfer of medical imaging data across NHS networks.
2. Preparing encrypted disks in accordance with legal requirements.
3. Monitoring and prioritising image requests to ensure timely delivery.
4. Liaising with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
5. Overseeing and prioritising image transfer requests.
6. Collaborating with MDT coordinators and healthcare professionals to ensure correct image transfers.
7. Ensuring accurate information is used to facilitate the rapid acquisition of images and reports.
8. Working as part of a team and being a point of contact for the Image Transfer Team.
9. Effectively communicating with staff, patients, and their representatives in a professional manner.
10. Providing clear, non-technical explanations to users over the phone or in person and communicating with staff at all levels.
11. Providing image data for audits and research purposes.
12. Maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information and images.
13. Following established policies and procedures for image transfer and storage.
14. Providing regular status updates to the IEP Team leader and relevant stakeholders.
