Teacher of Welsh Language required at a School in Caerphilly.
Your new school I am recruiting for a Teacher of Welsh language in a large secondary school in Caerphilly that has over 900 pupils. The school has high standards of teaching and excellent facilities, allowing the pupils to succeed. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.
Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will be teaching a full-time Welsh timetable. Your job will include:
* Full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking.
* Teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 second language Welsh.
* Pastoral duties including parents' evenings and being a form tutor.
* Actively take part in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
What you'll need to succeed
* You will hold a valid PGCE, ideally with QTS.
* Previous experience teaching Welsh up to KS5
* Strong behavioural management skills
* Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
* Up to date EWC registration.
