About the Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will have experience of closing the gaps for disadvantaged and SEND pupils. This role involves supporting autistic teenagers who have struggled throughout their school journey to achieve their academic and life goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Closing the gaps for disadvantaged and SEND pupils
• Supporting autistic teenagers to achieve their academic and life goals
• Focusing on each pupil's needs, adapting teaching to meet individual requirements
• Understanding behavior for communication and using this to support social and emotional development

Requirements
• QTS qualification
• Passion for working with pupils, compassionate and caring manner, mature non-judgemental approach
• Clear communication skills, resilient, and adaptable
• Experience of working with autistic individuals and complex needs
What We Offer
• A maximum of 5 pupils per class with adult support, reducing paperwork and allocating 7 hours per week of non-contact time for training, PPA, meetings, etc.
