Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Teaching: Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2). Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Foster a love for learning and curiosity among pupils. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
2. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and long-term plans. Use assessment data to inform teaching strategies and adapt content as needed. Integrate cross-curricular themes and promote critical thinking.
3. Assessment and Reporting: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student achievement. Prepare termly reports for parents and guardians.
4. Professional Development: Participate in relevant training and continuous professional development. Stay informed about educational trends and best practices.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2) in a UK school.
3. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
