Following a recent restructuring within Operational HR, we are in a transformative phase, offering opportunities to grow and shape the future of our HR services. Our employee relations function plays a pivotal role in supporting the Trust’s strategic objectives, ensuring we are recognised as both a great place to work and the employer of choice in our community.
Working within a fast-paced hospital setting you will support a diverse workforce, including clinical and non-clinical teams, helping to create a positive, supportive and highly performing workplace.
We are looking for a proactive, knowledgeable and committed HR Professional who can drive this vision forward. The role is instrumental in delivering a high-quality HR service, supporting staff across organisation to achieve meaningful outcomes aligned with the Trust’s values so they can continue to provide outstanding care to our patients.
We operate a hybrid model of on site and home working
Locations: Cross site - Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital

You will develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relationships, sufficient to support and advise on all aspects of Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures. This role will be key to supporting, coaching and training managers to undertake effective people management activities. These may involve sickness absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance and harassment/bullying issues. The post holder will have opportunity to be involved in many other related aspects such as supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives, job matching as well as supporting employee wellbeing objectives. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the transformation work such as attending consultation meetings and advising on procedure.

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
