Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time experienced Debt Advisor to work from our London Office and assist in building P10 Financial Group. As a business we want to do things differently to others in our industry. Nature of the role The right candidate has outstanding capital advisory capabilities. You will have the skillset to develop and maintains client relationship as you pursue new customer opportunities. You will be brought into the team to take over a number of existing relationships that is held by the business which will need to be nurtured and grown. You will also be responsible for the growth of P10 professional network to grow your lending origination. You will be working with extremely experienced & successful entrepreneurs. You will have a role where you are responsible for any of their existing or new lending requirements. You will be structuring debt deals in excess of £5,000,0000. Skills and qualifications • Working knowledge of debt advisory operations with banks or lenders • Great emotional intelligence, i.e. must be able to build meaningful relationships • Confident in talking to people at all levels of seniority • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills • You are motivated to grow and have a desire to progress in your career • Ability to use various IT tools such as financial and administrative, word processing, spreadsheet and database software • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written • Impeccable customer service and customer handling skills • Firm grasp of financial, documentation and administration procedures • Ability to analyse loan applications and supporting documents for issuance of loans • Strong numerical skills to handle loan calculations and repayments for the customers Duties and Responsibilities • Advising across the whole capital stack on CRE transactions. • Building out further lending partners in the £5m lending space. • Obtaining new debt mandates. • Business development to bring on in new partners and clients for the business for the P10 target market. • Assessing the financial position and credibility of customers seeking commercial debt • Advising on other financial products to customers • Approving loans to a certain specified limit and rejecting applications that don’t meet the borrowing threshold • Explaining the loan repayment schedules to borrowers and managing the loans through the whole life span • Reviewing and updating loan files and credit documentation • Mainting strong compliance with every single client and transaction • Managing and coaching junior members of the business • Direct line management for junior members • Assisting senior leadership to build out strategic ways of growing the commercial business • Responsible for cross referrals to other areas of the group such as accountancy, mortgages and insurance teams • Obtaining and compiling copies of applicant’s credit histories, financial statements and other financial information • Ensuring clients adhere to loan agreements and ensure that repayment is done on time • Ongoing clients management Experience requirements Must have experience originating CRE transactions over £5m Must have a minimum 5 years experience structuring large Applicants need to have experience making loan decisions through various means including credit history review, credit scoring and affordability analysis. Experience requirements We are ideally looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience working in various financial institutions. Experience in banking or financial services is essential. Applicants need to have experience strcuturing transactions in excess of £5m. Education and training requirements A degree in business, finance and accounting would be ideal but not strictly necessary.
