We have an exciting 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity within one of our Cambridgeshire Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Teams. We are looking for a full-time Social Worker who has experience in undertaking Special Guardian and Connected Person's Assessments, Fostering Form F Assessments and Private Fostering Assessments. However, if you have good assessment skills and a desire to learn, we would be willing to support you to achieve this.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of office (Scott House, Huntingdon) and home working.

What will you be doing?
You will undertake Special Guardian and Connected Person's assessments and support plans, and provide supervision to temporary Connected Person's Foster Carers as appropriate.
You will undertake Fostering Form F assessments for applicants wanting to become Foster carers and support them throughout their journey to approval.
You will also undertake Private Fostering Assessments and Regulation 8 visits.
About you:
We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and registered social worker with excellent assessment and critical analysis skills. You will have had some court experience and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You must have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently.
