As a Project Manager within the Estates and Facilities Management Directorate, you will:
1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver short, medium, and long-term projects.
2. Oversee a diverse project portfolio, ranging from estate development to service improvement and transformation.
3. Prepare critical project documentation, such as business cases, operational policies, and development plans.
4. Manage project risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
5. Act as a key liaison with clinical teams to integrate innovative operational practices into healthcare environments.
6. Provide regular updates and reports to governance committees and project boards.

To succeed in this role, you will:
Essential:
1. Strong experience in managing projects, including oversight of contractors and consultants.
2. Knowledge of NHS Estates guidelines and legislative requirements, such as HTM, HBN, Building Regulations 2010, etc.
3. Excellent budget management and organisational skills to deliver projects under pressure.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in IT and familiarity with project management tools.
6. Ability to coordinate activities across multi-agency settings and drive collaborative success.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of healthcare provision complexities and NHS systems.
2. Relevant project management qualifications or training, such as Prince2, APM PMQ or similar.
3. Demonstrated experience in influencing policies and implementing best practices.
4. Strong understanding of risk assessment and Health & Safety standards.
