Job Description
As part of our Prospect to Cash transformation programme, we are enhancing our Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system with new products and additional functionality, in order to drive further adoption of the tool and increase the level of automation possible in contract generation and invoicing.
The UAT Lead produces UAT script, with detail and variation to evidence the risk appetite has been met for both design and code quality. Once scripts are written, they will work with a matrix of individuals across the business to ensure the scripts are completed, and results logged and tracked. You will understand the solution design and project goals to such a degree that enables them to set tester expectations on the criticality of any defects and change requests raised and keep them informed of progress as fixes are deployed. You will manage performance of the test teams and work with all project and team members to achieve common goals.
This is a hybrid position reporting to the Head of Process Automation & Change Implementation
Testing Activities
• Working with BA to write detailed test scripts
• Deliver UAT training and kick off calls outlining UAT process to end user group
• Identify if defects logged are user error, change requests or genuine defects
• Communicate with end user group, ensuring test cases are completed within the allocated timeframes
• Support end user groups with how to follow test scripts and how to follow the UAT process
Test Capability
• Ability to create scripts to test all elements of technical requirements
• Contributes to and implements UAT best practice
• Adoption of defect management tools
• Ensures that defects are documented in line with agreed standards
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge
• Conducts system demonstrations to others in the team, department, division
• Contributes to Knowledge Sharing sessions within the project team
• Experience of using Salesforce to allocate scripts and record results
• A background leading UAT on software solutions
• Chasing outstanding scripts in a positive and engaging way
