Ensure a high standard of technical and clinical competenceSpecialist in Transthoracic and Transoesophageal echocardiography Perform analyse and report all routine investigations within CardiacPhysiology Laboratory including electrocardiography, ECG Holter analysis, BP analysis, Tilt Table Testing, Exercise and Event monitoring to the required local and national standard Perform analyse and report complex studies Ensure calibration and quality control of equipment is carried out for all procedures Assist and support Lead Cardiac Physiologist in the safe effectivemanagement of the department including management of personnel,facilities and associated systems and processes Ensures environment of care is safe, well equipped and compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness Act as a role model, presenting a positive image of self, team and theorganisation Actively try to resolve issues and complaints at local level and then report the outcome to line manager Communicate all relevant information to the multidisciplinary team internally and with external organisations as required, to ensure seamless care To participate in education and training of junior staff Maintain and develop own professional competence and seek to extend the scope of personal knowledge and skills within scope of role and professional practice You must have proven post-registration experience with a BSc (Hons) Degree qualification in Cardiology or equivalent.
