What you’ll be doing
* Your daily activity will focus on a combination of assisting the team in respect of valuations and remarketing activity. This will include instructing and chasing external valuers.
* Keeping up to date records on instructions to external agents involved in the recovery of assets to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner.
* Assisting the Asset Managers when they are remote to ensure records are kept up to date and accurate so other team members can use the lease administration system to know the current position on any recovery case.
* Liaise with the Recoveries team to ensure an efficient handover of cases from them to Asset Management.
* Handle internal or external queries on assets within our portfolio such as notification of fines for parking/speeding offences.
* Assist with the review and action of the HPI alerts to ensure our records remain up to date and that where required, action is taken to protect our assets.
About You
What you’ll bring to the team
* Good organisational and communication skills in order to support the day-to-day activities of the asset management team and where necessary work with the Head of Asset Management.
* Be able to prioritise your work and adapt to changes where workflow or events dictate.
* Good communication skills both written and verbal whether with internal or external stakeholders.
* Able to take instructions and complete actions with little or no direct input from your colleagues.
* An ability to work in a direct and broker origination model to support SME Lending's internal and external sales teams and understand the different dynamics involved.

Working hours
Monday to Friday - hybrid role. You will be required to be in the Southampton office 1 day per week.
