Head of Business Improvement & Change Management (PMO) Nottingham Rd, Derby DE1 3QT, UK 07 February 2025 About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as Head of Business Improvement & Change Management (PMO), reporting directly to the Director of People and Transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and overseeing key corporate-level change initiatives and transformation projects across the Group, working closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with organisational strategic objectives. Your Day-to-Day Strengthen change management capability through an effective PMO, supporting future strategy. Develop and implement a framework for project evaluation, monitoring, risk management, and reporting. Lead and manage large and small-scale transformation projects, ensuring clear communication of change benefits. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align change initiatives with business objectives and strategy. Provide leadership to the Programme Office, ensuring ownership and accountability for change management. Qualifications, Experience & Training Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner / Change Management, Educated to degree level, Awareness of different project methodologies and the ability to blend them to deliver best value, Proven experience of leading a team of professional project managers and business analysts within a governance framework, Significant experience leading major change programmes at a senior level, with deep functional project expertise, Extensive experience throughout the full project lifecycle from concept through to delivery (design, build, test, etc.) and successful implementation, Proven track record in driving and influencing change across organisations, Experience providing guidance and mentoring to non-project managers in delivering small projects, Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude, Objective, impartial, and professional approach with the ability to engage team members and key stakeholders to develop solutions, Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to all colleagues, Excellent interpersonal skills, with a highly approachable manner.
