You’ll be providing a housing management service, supporting customers to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.
Typical shift as a bank Housing Management Coordinator
* Working with over 55's in our Independent Living services.
* Supporting customers with housing benefit claims and getting rooms ready for the next customers.
* Ensuring our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Working with the team to ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

You bring
* Enjoyment in working with a range of customers and different people to support their housing needs.
* Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
* A real people person, confident to work in different services, locations, or teams and get on with colleagues.
* Ideally, experience in supported housing or a housing-related background, along with a positive, can-do attitude!
* Some knowledge of re-letting rooms, collecting rents, and understanding tenancies.
* The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
Our team
You’ll join Carol and the wider team in Hertfordshire. We currently have hours available in our Mymms House Service in Hatfield, and the great thing is you can pick up shifts in any of these services that need it! You will join our wider team of 12 Housing Management Coordinators who work with customers over 55 with all housing management-related matters. Our team works with our over 55 customers who live independently and are passionate about what we do! We’re a friendly, supportive, and diverse bunch, sharing a love and pride in our services.
Job details
* Flexible working hours Monday to Friday.
* Willingness to work across the Hertfordshire region, including our services in Hatfield, Watford, and Rickmansworth.
* Able to use technology for monitoring and updating customer rent accounts, doing mandatory learning, and keeping in touch with colleagues.
* Enhanced DBS check required, which we will pay for.
