A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an advanced Test engineer at MKS INSTRUMENTS based in CREWE, you will partner with our engineering team and will report to Mark our engineering Director. You will make an impact by: Develop and execute test plans with engineering team to validate performance against requirements. Perform functional, performance, regression testing, and reporting on existing and new products. Identify and track performance and software defects to the engineering team. Stay updated with the current testing tools, techniques and methodologies. Identify testing limitations in state-of-the-art vacuum measurement equipment and drive the testing technology to new levels. Skills you will bring: A bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or other related field. A relevant experience in product testing and reporting. Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis. Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming desirable. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Preferrable Skills: Data base development experience a plus. Experience in electronics a plus. Experience in vacuum technology a plus.
