Go Low Carbon is dedicated to assisting organizations in their journey toward a low-carbon economy. Our areas of expertise include utility procurement, energy audits, green technologies (mainly Solar), and carbon consulting. So far, we've helped reduce carbon emissions by 9.3 million kg CO2e, and this number continues to grow. Go Low Carbon is looking to expand its offerings and grow existing verticals.
We seek a candidate to provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads to meet business needs, quotas and company objectives. Responsible for developing leads through phone calls, social media and emails. A lead generation specialist's job is to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers for a business.
Key Responsibilities
* Research, track, maintain and update leads.
* Find potential leads through databases, CRM software, or social media.
* Contact potential leads through email, cold calling, or social media.
* Obtain customers' bills to initiate Sales Team to quote accordingly.
* Nurture leads through a campaign that can include phone calls, emails, or social media.
* Update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with details about each lead interaction.
* Obtain any supplementary information and record it onto the CRM to foster the customer experience and grow the relationship.
* Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data meet the needs of the business and customer.
* Ensure that customers always have a positive experience with the company.
* Participate in exhibitions and other marketing events.
* Engage all customers on our full range of services.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B utility sales.
* Professional, ethical approach with a focus on the customer.
* Dynamic, self-motivated, and pro-active.
* Ambitious for personal growth and career development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Work in an orderly fashion.
* Computer literate, particularly with Office 365.
Benefits
* Contract: Permanent, 35.5 hours per week.
* Salary: Between £25,000 and £30,000 dependent on experience plus performance bonus.
* Holidays: 32 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
* Location: Flexible. The successful candidate can work from our head office in Carlisle or alternatively will be supported in working from home office. Travel to the head office or meeting points will be required occasionally.
