Responsible for supplier performance development in global supply chain. Responsible for the procurement of materials in accordance with specifications. Responsible for driving the cost savings and added value for the business. Drive strategic supplier selection, approval and relationship management. Drive supplier logistics, packaging and quality to optimise production line efficiency Management of key suppliers. Ensure full availability of materials vs plan whilst working to minimise inventory. Manage complex engineering and supply chain changes into production in line with ISO1345 control requirements. Aid development of purchasing assistants and engineering buyers About You Must enjoy a varied, complex and fast-moving environment. Have strong background in purchasing mechanical and electro-mechanical components for medical, food, aerospace or other highly regulated industry. Demonstrable results in delivery cost savings and lead time reduction Candidates should be experienced in ERP systems Formal Engineering qualification or equivalent work experience.
