Spinal Injury Support Worker (Live-In)
Salary: £151.52 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Prestbury, Cheshire. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Working Hours:
You will be part of a team delivering 24/7 care through a Live-In shift pattern of 1 week on, 1 week off. Your working week will begin on a Saturday at 12 pm, and you will leave the client’s home the following Saturday at 12 pm.
Our client is a university student based in Liverpool from Monday to Friday. You will assist her with transportation to and from the university and be based in Liverpool during the week, before returning to her home on Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering personalised care and support to individuals with complex health conditions.
* Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship to the client.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within complex care settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.
* Valid UK driver’s license.
