The pharmacy team support and deliver Trust services as well as contracted services with primary care, which offers great opportunity for learning and the development of portfolio roles. These roles will include experience in Mental Health, Community Hospital services and Primary Care Networks.
Main duties of the job
Dorset HealthCare has a wealth of development opportunities for newly qualified Pharmacists. We are looking for someone who is on or would like to continue their Foundation practice journey. This post will give you the opportunity to further your clinical skills, supporting services that extend across the whole of Dorset. This will be achieved through a 2 year pathway progression leading to a band 7 post on completion. We will invest in you to access the appropriate training, including post graduate education and prescribing and develop your confidence in a broad range of disciplines including mental health, frailty and physical health.
It is essential that you are an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative pharmacist with exemplary communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude. It is a time of great opportunity in Dorset with medicines and pharmacy from all sectors coming together.
