We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / JCB Driver to join a leading company supplying commercial polytunnels immediate start available Based in Ledbury, this is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm currently paying £12ph with a pay increase due in April. Your own transport is essential due to the location. As YardOperative / JCB Driver you will be energetic with a positive mindset there will be opportunity to further develop within the team for the right individual. Training and refresher training will be given on operational machinery. In detail this will include the following: To be part of a multi skilled warehouse team carrying out all elements required to help the department run effectively and efficiently Unload deliveries and place in allocated bin locations Complete checks on goods in and flag any QC or goods in issues Load containers and trailers when required following the correct procedures to ensure all goods are loaded safely and correctly Ensure the yard is kept tidy and free of rubbish Complete the daily checks on the JCB on the T100 system and flag any issues Pick orders Provide cover for holidays/sickness for the team, able to fill in where required on all warehouse tasks Yard Banksman Complete internal production on gutter forming and polythene rereeling We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience: Experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative is essential Be comfortable with external working conditions (youll be provided with full workwear) Proven Organisational skills Excellent Attention to detail A Real Team Player Reliability and Dependability Good level of English and Mathematics Counterbalance FLT and JCB licenses desirable but training will be given Benefits Include: 31 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays and Christmas closure) Additional holiday entitlement with time served up to 27 days a year After a full 10 year served the company offer a paid full months sabbatical for the employee to plan a trip of a lifetime Pension Onsite Free Parking Onsite canteen Please apply today or call us to discuss this YardOperative / JCB Driver role in more detail Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.
