As you would expect from an accredited Investor in People, our HR team provides professional, best-in-class, and forward-thinking support to this unique and diverse organisation.
Working alongside amazing colleagues and in support of a Senior People Partner, you’ll provide generalist HR advice to one of our largest departments, responsible for the delivery of all hospitality, housekeeping, catering, and events across the Royal Household.
Covering sites in London, Windsor, and Edinburgh, this is a highly visible and client-facing role. No two days will be the same, and your remit will be fast-paced but full of rewarding challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as a trusted advisor, the majority of your time will be spent supporting and coaching a range of managers with routine and complex people management and employee relations issues. Whether it’s complex casework, performance, wellbeing, or change, you’ll help to ensure every manager can confidently manage their team.
* Alongside the Senior People Partner, you’ll use data to inform proactive people plans that tackle emerging issues and support departmental business objectives.
* Working collaboratively with the wider HR team, you’ll contribute to organisation-wide projects and policy development, as well as helping to design tailored solutions to meet your department’s needs.
* With an eye to the future, you’ll also help to build people manager capability; support with recruitment plans and career development initiatives across the department.

Minimum Requirements:
* An experienced HR generalist, you’ll have sound technical expertise, lots of ER case management experience, and the skills to apply employment law and best practice in a sensitive and pragmatic way.
* A strong communicator able to build trust and credibility quickly, you’re able to coach, constructively challenge, and support managers at a range of levels.
* A natural collaborator and at your best working in a team, you can quickly build relationships and navigate a matrixed environment with ease.
* Organised and proactive, with lots of initiative and an ability to work at pace, you'll juggle a varied workload, effectively balancing strategic and operational priorities.
* Digitally fluent and with good analytical skills, you'll know how to use HR systems and data to provide Management Information (MI) and insights to your business area.
A CIPD qualification (or working towards this) would be beneficial but not essential.
