Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business in the private water industry.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in water engineering, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or maintenance, and have transferable skills that can be applied to our niche services.
We design, install, and maintain private water systems for domestic, commercial, and agricultural clients across Devon, Somerset, and Cornwall.
This role combines administrative tasks with hands-on responsibilities, requiring strong problem-solving skills, self-management, communication, customer service, and professionalism.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers on the road, provide support to administration staff, and handle technical enquiries from customers.
They will also attend emergency breakdowns during the week, alleviating engineers to focus on scheduled work and providing a better service to existing and new customers.
This is a key role within our business, requiring a high work ethic, hardworking mindset, and fitness. In-depth training will be provided, and a full clean driving licence is essential.
The starting salary will be based on the individual's skills and reviewed regularly as part of ongoing employee development.

Work Location:
In person at our office between Bideford and Holsworthy, covering Devon, Somerset, and Cornwall.
Salary Range:
£35,000 - £40,000 per year, dependent on individual skills and reviewed regularly as part of ongoing employee development.
