Reporting to the Experience and Visitor Programming Manager, you'll both champion high quality presentation standards, accessibility and drive the delivery of a great visitor experience across the property. The hall is surrounded by 800 acres of parkland and only 5 miles from Derby city centre, offering plenty of opportunity for you to help grow the visitor audiences and the offer of inclusive events on site.Click here for more information about this locationA typical day in your role could include planning and organising future events and activities, liaising with the Marketing and Communications Officer for upcoming content for the website and social media, meeting volunteers you manage in the second-hand bookshop, as well as meeting visitors when you’re around the site. During school holidays you’ll be leading a team of events volunteers who will support you to deliver events such as outdoor trails, festive events and creative activities for families. You'll contribute to exploring new ways to fundraise for the property and promoting the charity cause through everything we do.With our impressive collections, inspiring landscapes and centuries of history, there’s everything here to fire your imagination, to create accessible events and deliver outstanding interpretation.
