Job Title: French Language Teacher Location: Darlington/Durham Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary Industry: Education and Training Role Overview: Protocol Education are working with a school in Darlington who require an enthusiastic and skilled French Language Teacher to join them on a temporary full-time basis. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment in a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver dynamic and effective lessons in French, tailored to a range of student abilities and levels. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and participation. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive educational experience. Required Qualifications and Skills: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Fluency in the French language. Bachelor’s degree in French, or a related discipline. Previous experience teaching French to diverse student groups. Strong understanding of language teaching methodologies. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs. Preferred Qualifications: A postgraduate qualification in Education is highly desirable. Experience integrating technology into language instruction. Working Environment: Work within a vibrant school setting during regular school hours.
