Candidates for the Head of Operations position should have management experience within a golf club or hospitality business, a well-rounded commercial and operational background, and a passion for golf. The role requires the ability to plan and organize effectively, monitor and evaluate performance, and adapt management styles as needed. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to develop the skills of staff at all levels. The Head of Operations will be a key figure for the team, members, visitors, and other stakeholders, and must be a prudent manager with a strong focus on driving the business forward. Industry certifications such as CCM or PGA are encouraged but not required.
