History Teacher
* Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)
* Location: Cambridgeshire

We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons that meet curriculum standards.
* Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Develop and use a variety of teaching techniques and materials that reflect recent educational research.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a good learning environment.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
* Continuously update personal knowledge of the subject area and pedagogic methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
* Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential.
* Proven experience in teaching history or a related subject.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
