Job Title: Architect – NHS & Healthcare Technology (HL7/FHIR Expertise)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: £550/day inside IR35
Duartion: 3 Months (to begin with)
Role Overview: We are looking for an Architect with expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR, to lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art healthcare technology solutions for the NHS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NHS healthcare systems and a proven track record in designing scalable and interoperable architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of healthcare technology architectures aligned with NHS standards and interoperability requirements.
* Leverage expertise in HL7, FHIR, and related standards to ensure seamless data exchange across healthcare systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
* Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and recommend improvements to meet NHS and industry interoperability standards.
* Provide technical leadership in the integration of third-party systems and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
* Stay updated on emerging trends in healthcare technology, interoperability, and NHS policy to drive continuous improvement.
Skills:
* Extensive experience in healthcare technology, with a focus on NHS systems and interoperability.
* Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange standards.
* Strong understanding of NHS interoperability standards, clinical workflows, and healthcare systems.
* Hands-on experience in designing scalable architectures and implementing data integration solutions.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR and UK Data Protection Act.
