MSE Critical Care Nursing Education Lead

We are looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse, who is passionate about educating and inspiring current and future nursing staff, to join us as our new Education Lead.
As our Critical Care Nursing Education Lead, you will provide visible professional leadership and line management to the Education team in the MSE Adult Critical Care areas and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi-disciplinary team in relation to education and training in the directorate.

Main Duties of the Job
* Be a champion creating a culture of learning and quality improvement in the clinical area.
* Be responsible for compliance with Education KPIs in the Critical Care units (including but not exhaustive) eLearning, induction, appraisal, and ANTT.
* Lead the Critical Care education team to support and promote effective multi-disciplinary team education opportunities through academic and experiential learning.
* Be accountable for own practice in line with the NMC code of professional conduct and take every reasonable opportunity to sustain and improve own knowledge and professional competence.
* Deputise for Head of Nursing / Matron if required.
* Critically reflect on own performance through peer/team network and clinical supervision.
* Maintain registration with professional regulatory bodies, to keep up to date with developments within the profession.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
* MSc degree or evidence of relevant study at level 7 ENB, MIPS or Mentorship qualification
* Evidence of recent study at Masters/Degree level
Experience
* Application demonstrates expert knowledge of clinical practice in intensive care nursing
* Experience as nursing education lead
