Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global engineering manufacturer.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely, covering the North of the UK managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the pumps and valve sectors via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have sales and/or technical solutions experience within rotating equipment such as pumps, valves, bearings, seals, motors, compressed air, industrial gearboxes, capital equipment, or similar mechanical engineering products.
Technical Engineers with rotating equipment experience looking to progress into sales are strongly encouraged to apply

Managing a number of key accounts via the pump and/or valve distribution channels and OEM customers in to various industries.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling rotating equipment and reliability solutions
Liaise with key customers and clients within the rotating equipment market, providing technical and commercial guidance.
Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Identify and understand market trends, particularly within the rotating equipment, pumps and valves sector
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Covering the North of the UK from Hull to Manchester and down to Stoke.Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
Experience as a Service Engineer, Engineering Manager,Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within rotating equipment.
Experience selling mechanical engineering equipment - pumps, valves, bearings, seals, motors, compressed air, industrial gearboxes ,capital equipment or similar mechanical engineering products
Technical Engineers with rotating equipment experience looking to progress in to sales are strongly encouraged to apply
A technical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree would be advantageous.
Full clean driving license.
Fully remote, willing to cover the North of the UK from Manchester to Hull down to Stoke
