About the Role:
Join an excellent Legal 500 firm based in a great Kent location in their thriving Family team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly regarded team, handling a diverse caseload of privately funded family matters, and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and children act matters.
* Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated for.
* Conduct negotiations and mediations on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
* Attend court hearings and represent clients in family proceedings when necessary.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services and maintain client satisfaction.
Criteria:
* Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2 years or more post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
* Demonstrated experience handling a range of family law matters independently.
* Ideally strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant family law legislation and procedures.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and provide empathetic support.
* Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.
* A team player with a proactive approach to work and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
