The BDE will work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to drive awareness of the brand, Statfold Country Park, ultimately driving sales for the business. The role will involve both office and external-based requirements, spreading the message about the venue and our offering.
This role is perfect for someone looking to work within the venue sales industry, as we are constantly evolving and expanding.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and generate new business leads for Statfold Country Park, through various sources including outbound calls, networking, LinkedIn and existing customer account management. Mix of virtual & face-to-face meetings will be required.
2. Developing relationships with key stakeholders within the surrounding towns to ensure that Statfold Country Park is represented.
3. Present the brand and your proposals confidently, tailoring solutions to client needs.
4. Convert inbound and outbound leads into revenue for the business, exploring upselling opportunities.
5. Identify and research competitors, working closely with the Marketing Team to understand events/concepts that are taking place, to suggest campaigns that could support our messaging.
6. Achieve and exceed monthly targets for revenue and KPIs.
7. Identify and qualify leads through effective conversation, building strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
8. Work closely with the departments to ensure fulfilment of the event is delivered to the highest standards, meeting and exceeding expectations.
9. Understand the annual budgets and our packages to ensure that costs are monitored to deliver the most profit for the organisation.
10. Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all bookings and sales, ensuring sales of events tickets and Statfold products are maximised and proactively generate new business by promoting all aspects of the business.
11. Ensure that sales procedures are followed correctly, with accurate billing of sales and payments received in line with terms and conditions.
12. Represent Statfold Country Park at external events in a positive and professional manner.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Generate and convert new business enquiries for the venue.
2. Create and present client proposals based on specific requirements.
3. Identify competitors and opportunities for Statfold Country Park.
4. Respond to inbound enquiries generated through marketing campaigns.
5. Convert profitable business opportunities and work with the departments to ensure successful fulfilment.

Work hours and benefits:
1. Subject to candidate we have Part Time/ Full Time hours available.
2. Available to work extended hours and weekends where necessary would be beneficial.
3. Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 and OTE, subject to applicant experience.
4. Discounts on on-site food and drink.
5. Discounts on Statfold Country Park event tickets.
6. Must be located within the Midlands with a full driving licence and access to own car.
Training on our systems and processes will be provided on-site. It is, however, essential to have a passion for driving new business and spreading awareness for Statfold Country Park.
