We Are Recruiting for a HV Cable Jointer Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience Job type: Full time and Permanent Duties and responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to: To carry out HV cable jointing and terminations on 11 kV and 33 kV (Experience on higher voltages desirable but not essential) To carry out earthing and cable installations To help electricians and other trades on larger installations Being able to take the role as Installation lead on projects, reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills Assist with site breakdowns and investigative procedures Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times Act as a competent person to receive safety documentation Take personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to you Contribute to the future success of Powersystems UK and its clients Proactively look at ways to enhance the service offered by the business, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of company processes Maintain a professional image at all times Embrace and demonstrate Powersystems 5 principles of: Priority No.1 – Health, Safety and Well-being, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership and Proactive Here’s what you need to be successful in the role: Experience of working on Construction sites Experience of working within the electrical power sector Minimum of 11 kV experience Open to change, resilient and proactive Must hold JIB approved ECS card Experience working on Commercial and Industrial installations Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team Must hold a full UK driving licence Proven attention to detail and able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills A team player with a confident and enthusiastic attitude Right to work within the UK without limitation Salary and benefits: Highly competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications.
