Job Purpose: To ensure that capital investments across the MMID logistics network are strategically aligned with business goals, achieving operational standards and service levels with a strong focus on safety, cost, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves identifying, planning, and managing solutions that support the MMID logistics depots' planned and preventative maintenance strategy. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and implement agreed capital projects across the MMID estate (Budget circa £10m), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the necessary quality standards and service levels. Prepare project status reports by collating, analysing, and summarizing information, trends, and recommended actions. Provide technical solutions and guidance for identified problems across the sites and proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement in site maintenance activities, providing appropriate support and advice in line with legal requirements. Create a planned inspection schedule of the MMID estate buildings and operations to determine vital/statutory service, repairs, and maintenance requirements. In partnership with the Operations team and H&S, identify areas for improvement and efficiency, develop business cases/project specification proposals, and manage project plan delivery. Oversee the coordination of internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner, ensuring efficiency and cost control. Develop property, maintenance, and facilities strategies for land and building optimization, cost reduction, efficiency, and asset longevity. Source and recommend contractors and third-party service providers, ensuring that all procured goods and services are managed through a tendering process and in accordance with Muller GO and H&S policies. Act as the lead MMID contact, managing relationships with all stakeholders, consultants, and service providers. Be a key driver towards the business achieving its sustainability agenda and carbon reduction goals. Ensure partners and suppliers have a clear social value and sustainability proposition. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. HNC or equivalent in electrical/mechanical/building services. CDM training and strong working knowledge of the legislation in practice. Experience in planned preventative maintenance facilitation. Contractor selection, due diligence, risk management, and SRM experience. Experience in business case building and ROI calculations for technical solutions. Desirable Skills: Membership in OSH/NEBOSH or BIFM. Demonstrable project management experience. Experience in capital projects management. Soft Skills: Strong team management and influencing abilities. Effective communication skills. Solutions-focused with attention to detail.
